I was told there were 700 for the UK ,maybe at the time Nissan would not know how popular the car would be .All I do know is that if you want one now they cant give you a date and just say " maybe within the first half of 2010 " .Probably better to not bother if you dont have one orderd by now .I'm sure by late Summer 2009 there will be used low millage examples around ,and not ordering will be quicker and cheaper to get a car .

Correct, heard 23 too. Not sure if that includes press cars. I'm no 9 I believe.

When I went to sign my order form, the dealer (Merckx) got two inquiries by phone in 10 minutes, and there was another guy right behind me waiting for his turn to sign up. I've got the impression that He was selling lots of them.
(Ok, granted, Mine will probably come in 2010...)

The dealer told me that since the first Top gear with the gtr (VS bullet train), he has sold more GTR than Micras.
