But after the initial order batch which was between 2-6 April 2008 I beliave, orders are now first come, first served. And it doesn't just apply to your country but for all of Europe. So if a lad in Spain orders one 1minute before you do, you'll be after him in line. Don't know if this is correct though, but this was my father was told from the HPC some time ago. |

In Spain is going to be 100 units... Thats what my dealer said me.
And what Yakozan has said: "So if a lad in Spain orders one 1minute before you do, you'll be after him in line." is the same I know... I asked it in my HPC. |

As is already read on many websites each country have a fixed continengent, swiss have for example 90 GT-R's which are already all sold. As there are over 110 orders Nissan Swiss is trying to get a bigger contingent.
--------- Damn, i just realized i opened this thread in the wrong category, could a mod move this thread to the "R35 Chit Chat" section ?. |

The number of cars scheduled for Europe is significantly less than Nissan Europe want and orders have far exceeded forecasts. As a result Nissan Europe and NMGB are requesting more cars be shipped. Final numbers have yet to be agreed therefore.

It may, or may not be relevant. However at Goodwood there was comment that "Europe" had ordered 6000 R35's already and that anyone ordering 'now' would be lucky to see a car before early 2010.
It may be market hype, it may not. However clearly the car is very popular amongst the non-previous GTR Skyline community based on price/performance (the R35 is not in the previous Godzilla mould). If that will continue to hold up against the new direct injection 997? Well your guess is as good as mine. DaveG |
