Top gear special - GTR vs Bullet Train

Just picked up TG mag - and a little featurette explains one of the challenges comming up in the new series is May and Hamster in a Bullet train vs the GTR. Should be interesting.

Its a red one too - have to watch again, but think its one with beige leather inside. Not the best combo in my opinion. Don't know how much you can tell by a second flash of video, but clarkson seemed to be having a good time

It was at the start of Top gear last night - they showed a series of clips of whats to come. Can get on bbci player. Be warned, though clip is ultra short and blink and you'll miss it!.

I like the bit when clarkson says 'bullet train? - pah!' - I think he is implying its got no chance against the GTR.

I think its obvious they will keep it 'til the last in the series - there's only six and they like to finish with one of their "races" - Just mho!

We're heading off to Japan, the land of unnecessarily complicated toilets, tiny trees and the world's most hotly anticipated new supercar - the Nissan GT-R. It's time for the latest of our patented epic races.

Jeremy will be getting behind the wheel of the Porsche-baiting Nissan, while Richard and James are to make good use of Japan's legendarily punctual public transport system.

Also, Clarkson hammers the impossibly pretty Alfa Romeo 8C around our test track, to see if its beauty is more than just skin-deep.

And, Fiona Bruce and Kate Silverton are our next pair of stars in a reasonably priced car.

it makes me worry, often when they do specials like this, the featured car does not make a lap of their track (veyron, slr etc)
seems like the stig will be testing the alfa and not the r35, please someone tell me im wrong!
