Experienses with Garret GT2871
Hey everyone
my org ceramic turbos are dead but this gives me the opportunity for new tubbies so what are your thoughts about these turbos and what power are they best for as I can understand, they have a smaller housing at 0,64 like the n1 turbos, where the 2860-5 are 0,84 housing according to the company that sell these in denmark, that will give me boost quicker than the 2860-5 |

They also will not fit NEARLY as easily as the 2860's in any config. If you are choosing the Garrett line, use the -7's if you want stock like response, and use the -5's if you know how to shift gears and want a good dose of power. |

The 707160-10 is a SIGNIFICANTLY bigger turbo than the -5. It has the most lag of the Garrett skyline bolt on turbos.
If you want quick spool than the -7 or -9 is a good choice. The -5 is a great choice for a high powered daily driver.
