Bill if you are enquiring about the Black R34 I had for sale, it has been sold and is no longer available.

My R34 VSpec II NUR is still available.

    Thanks

    Hi Nick,

As you know, I work in London and almost never drive the NUR, I drive a Porsche Cayenne Turbo as my daily driver when I get back at the weekends so only rarely use the NUR to go for lunch on a Sunday etc. if it was dry.

The NUR will return mid 20’s MPG on a motorway cruise. I know from earlier R34’s it will return and about 18 MPG if you drive it hard.

I might drive the R32 a little, I have been in one before and know they are nice cars, but the Porsche does most things well.

I had an M5 for a daily driver before the Porsche; it was probably more satisfying, but not so good for towing my daughter’s horsebox.

    Cheers

    Right, got it.

Im happy with that Valuation. I took my value of £19-20k from the current prices listed on Pistonheads. The Recaro seats will definately help any sale! And this is still a fairly low mileage model (@ 12500 miles).

Ok Hugh, now i know the figures i have to play with. Let me mull this over the weekend, and il let you know my decision Monday.

I think you're right about the condition on this car ;)

    Regards,

    Nick

P.S. if you didnt need to sell the R32 straight away, I'd recommend using it for a bit. Not the power of the Skyline, but my god what a soundtrack!! Its almost like a mini Skyline to drive. Very planted and stable. I'm sure you'd enjoy it for a little bit ;) Probably wouldnt cost as much to run each month either.

By the way, just curious, how much did you spend on average each month running the Nur? (petrol etc)

    Nick,

You said that your car was worth between £19K and £20K so I allowed you £19.5K although I think this will be hard to achieve.

Dropping my car to £40K that leaves you with a gap of £20.5K.

You will not find a NUR like this anywhere.

    Cheers

    Hi Hugh,

Ok, so value of car @ £41,000. Value of my car @ £20,500 leaving £20,500 to pay...is that correct?

If so, give me a couple days to crunch the numbers and think about it (see if i can still afford it). I shall get back to you soon.

    Kind Regards,

    Nick Da Costa

    Nick,

The offer I made assumed your car was valued at the mid point between the two figures you mentioned your car was worth.

Dropping another thousand pounds from my advertised price leaves a gap of £20.5K, there will no doubt sbe som additional costs to get your car sold, which means I am effectively taking les than £40K for the NUR.

    Cheers

    Hi Hugh,

I understand how much the car must have cost you. I hope you dont think im trying to be cheap. was just trying to gauge the sort of margin (if any) you had.

What is the best offer you can make on the car. As said, its a little outside my ideal budget, but this is a car I really want to own, and I might be tempted to move a little to be part of such an experience. It will take some thouht.

I notice you are a long way away from me too. But that shouldnt be a problem arranging transport up for one, and then bringing the other back (shouldn't be the key word there ;) ).

    Regards,

    Nick

    Hi Nick,

Thanks for showing the interest in buying the NUR.

The NUR cost me £54k and has done almost no miles in my ownership, mostly because I started working in London and do not have the time to keep my car hobby going like I used to.

I will still be burdened with selling your car so will probably not get the valuation you placed on it making the real sale price less than we agree.

I am not ready to drop to £38K, but will accept your car + £20.5K

    Cheers

    Hi Hugh,

As i have said, I am very interested in the Nur. Its the car i have always wanted, and with prices going the way they have, I might now be able to afford one.

I need to ask what is the lowest you are willing to go to price wise? I love cars (especially skylines) and know when cars have been treated well. This car definately commands a lot of value (as it should), but since this is actually above my budget I need to know If i can afford it at all. I am willing to break my budget for a car like this though as this is a once in a lifetime opportunity to me!

Would you be willing to go as low as £38k? or are you not prepared to go that low yet? And would you be happy with my valuation of the Golf (obviously after you have confirmed the quality). I shall try an get some pictures to you ASAP.

    Kind Regards,

    Nick Da Costa
