Angry rocks in the road

driving in a 40 zone in the skyline just enjoying it, then all of a sudden this massive rock gets kicked into my lane (on the left lane) from a car on the right, and it wasn't just a small rock, you would definitely struggle to get one hand around it, it just popped out right in the middle of my lane and I just cringed ****ING shit, cracked the splitter went right under the car hitting the body as it did, heard the unbearable noise as it went through

and before you say should've avoided it, there were cars in the right lane and behind so couldn't exactly break hard, and definitely didn't wanna end up on top of the grass

had a chance to park up and did, saw the damage front not good, gonna take it on the pit when I get a chance later in the week

absolutely gutted, sorted out the bumper two weeks ago came back good as new and now this bollocks

theres no point going through that hassle, I'm trying to get someone to do a cheapo job on it, just needs filling, sanding down and a quick spray and polish

these roads suck around here

Unlucky mate Unavoidable unfortunately when that happens.
Once, years ago when I had an Astra GSi, doing 60 on a dual carriageway, the car in front of me suddenly moved over sharpish to the inner lane, leaving me confronted with a treble ladder in the outside lane, which I hit and destroyed my tyre and bent a wish bone
I was also following a bus once in my old Impreza, cars up my backside tight, when a brick came out from under the bus and I caught it with my rear wheel, which popped the tyre and the brick went through the alloy and destroyed that too
Not worth the hassle of insurance on both ocassions, its just a case of bending over and biting on the pillow

Similar thing happened to me the first day I took my GTR to work. I'd had it 4 days and by the time I turned up in the car park there was a big dent in the leading edge of the bonnet and paint flaking off

Turn it up to 11. Although that's pretty quiet on my stereo, it goes up to 100.
