As of 1 July there are 87 places left for the Race Academy.

12 for Silverstone
75 for the Nurburgring

If you haven't decided yet you might want to soo, otherwise you might not get a choice

I booked Silverstone through the consierge about 2 weeks ago but heard nothing more. Yesterday I logged into the GTR events webpage, clicked on 'amend profile' and submitted it without making any changes. I then got my email confirming all details for the booking.

Further to the above the email confirming Silverstone was resent after my post was picked up by the manager sports at Nissan international Switzerland, who had the email resent. The original may have been blocked by my server.

Probably a silly question but if it says "status confirmed" on my profile does that mean that the academy date i've entered is confirmed?
I ask this as i've received nothing via email or post to confirm and my date of Aug 4th is drawing near.

i recently got my preorder in but what kind of time are we looking at before i can book my race academy place or anything? haven't got my password or username yet, any help appreciated

i ordered my car last week. just spoke to the concierge who said i would not be eligible for this round of track days. she believed anyone who ordered after 30th May would take part in the next set of dates. my dealer thought this would be Feb/Mar 2009.

bit disappointed as I was looking forward to driving it this summer, although just as long as i get the free helmet and race academy at some point, i suppose i'm not that bothered.

good point Sayen - i was undecided but think i'll stick with Silverstone!!! driving a GT-R for the first time in the white stuff doesn't really appeal!

just noticed you're in Switzerland... we have the option of Silverstone in the UK, but I guess that doesn't apply to the rest of Europe.
