Ready for iPod

Hi All,

Does anyone know if the R35 is ready for an iPod connection so I can play my Bay City Rollers on the way home after I pick it up.

Altogether now, SHANG-A-LANG

Think you might be better playing that on an 8 track mate to get the full benefit of the era

you have to order a cable

The built in hard disk is very good, a little too good as the wife loves changing tracks

+ now she wants to load it up with her music...

I must find the delete button soon

You need to pick up a BT adaptor from Nissan that plugs into the ipod dock and pair it with the Car Audio System's Bluetooth connection.

Only downside for most of us is : no bluetooth on pre september 2009 deliveries (blue tooth comes in combi with satnav). Bugger.

Yeah, I am using a third party one as well.. but it's a bit harder to find them. Most of the time, they are paired with an A2DP headphone system etc.

So I figured the Nissan official one was a simpler choice since it'll be where he's picking up the car.

Last resort: which is what I use primarily: CF slot.

Get a CF card (or an SD card with CF adaptor etc), and drag/drop the MP3s from iTunes to the card. Then plug card into the CF slot on the GTR.

Sounds better than A2DP IMHO

Yep. Mind you think 30 GB worth of hard disk will do for a while. Blast bunch of MP3's on a cd and move them to the hard disk. I think. I will have to wait another year to try.
