R32GTR Battery Relocation
I need to relocate my battery from the stock location to the boot.
I intend to house the battery in a box such as this:- ![]() and run a +ve cable to the front to connect to the OEM +ve connector. Problem is with the -ve side of things...Normally I would just earth the -ve battery terminal to a point in the boot but I have an earthing kit eunning arounf the engine bay. The options are to, as above,1) run a cable to a point in the boot; 2) Run a cable to the engine bay to connect to the OEM -ve terminal; 3) run a cable to a point in the boot AND from there run another cable to the OEM -ve terminal. What do you guys think would be the best way of solving this problem...auto electrics was never my strong point TBH TT

No need for a negative cable tbh, earth is earth all over the car.. Just make sure it is earthed to an appropriate place.
I got ho,d of an extension cable for a welder and used that, very flexible with a silicon thick cover and at 35 square mm thick enough for a few hundred amps ![]()
