Top Gear R35 GT-R vs Bullet train.

Top Gear 13th July

Top Gear undertakes one of its epic races as Jeremy Clarkson attempts to drive the remarkable new Nissan GT-R right across Japan faster than Richard Hammond and James May can make the same journey on the legendary Bullet Train. Plus, Richard tries Toyota’s idea of personal transport for the future, the sensational Alfa Romeo 8C brings some glamour to the Top Gear track and news readers Fiona Bruce and Kate Silverton are the Stars in The Reasonably Priced Car.

yep i'll probably be stuck on the A3! gonna set the sky plus tonight i think!!

can't wait to see the programme. with their other epic challenges to date, they always pick an epic car and give the car in question glowing reviews (e.g. SLR, DB9, Veryron, etc.) - let's hope that trend continues with their impression of the GT-R! (as if there is much doubt!!!)

I hope the 8C doesn't attract attention away from the GT-R!

How do you know the GT-R is appearing on the 13th? There is no mention of this on the Top Gear website.

We are staying on the Sunday night!

Have invested in a portable arial thing so we should be able to watch in on a laptop while drinking beers and BBQ!

Bliss!

In case it all goes balls up, does anyone live close to Goodwood and fancy half a dozen guests for a couple of hours??

Bugger I'm at Topgear the following week! Although the car may still be there on the Wednesday filming?
Am also at Goodwood on the 13th, but should be back by 8pm.
