What to replace R33 GTR with?

Guys, im thinking of selling my beloved but me being me, i have to research the next car to the nth degree! Its obviously a difficult car to replace performance wise (mine is 430 bhp) so i've also considered cheaper 2 seaters as something completely different. Has anyone any experience or comments on the following, or even recommend anything else? Budget will prob be no more than £15K in a couple of months.

Merc CL500/CL55 AMG (later CL55 has 500bhp!)
TVR Cerbera
BMW M3/M5
Audi S4/RS4
Honda NSX
Maserati 3200
350Z (poss with forced induction kit)
or
RX7
S2000
Elise

M3 all the way .Especially after Top Gear has now confirmed that M3's are now 'cool' and are no longer driven by cocks . If you watched the last episode you will now realise that the Audi is a no-no

TT

If you have no individual taste and want to be "in" with the mainstream:

M3/M5/Audi/zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

If you actually want to drive on tracks get the Elise

If you do have taste, appreciation of good cars regardless of how slow, how fast, unreliable or reliable then the S2000, NSX, Maserati 3200 GT, RX7 are sound choices.

Why are you thinking of selling the 33GTR?

And why not consider a newer R34GTT with say 500bhp and rwd? (TD06 kit or similar) that'll keep you awake, and is better than everything on your list.....
And you keep the faith!
Andy.

I depends what you're using the car for. If it's a weekend toy then I agree with TREG and you should get a Noble.

If it's an everyday car though I'd be tempted with a Maseratti.

I'd say go pure sport and get the Lotus. Sure, it's low on power, but it's low on weight too. I think you'd only notice the lack of power if you tried to run top speed. Everywhere else, the thing looks like it'd go like a kart on amphetamines.

Thanks for the advice so far lads. The car defo won't be tracked and wont be a daily driver either.
I'm thinking of selling as i've just got itchy feet and want to try something different. I'll defo be back in skylines with an R34GTR but don't fancy a GTT.
Treg, checked out the Nobles - fantastic cars but just out of the price range at £20K!
xaero, the mechanic has advised that maintaining the maseratis can be v costly, but they do look cracking!

Wow, not a single mention of a Supra. Properly built, you would love the balance of power and control you can achieve with one. You should give one a try. Just do proper mods first (brakes, suspension, wheel/tire setup). You will want to achieve proper traction and body control before upgrading the power.

Treg, thats the one on the trader for £20K - very tempting pics but i just don't have the budget for it. Looks well with the clear rear lights but needs black mesh in the rear. Defo a very special car

There's more to cars than just HP figures and where the wheels are driven!
