R32 gtr hks twin plate clutch help please
Hello all just after a little advice please, I just read this about about an os giken twin plate and was just wondering if its the same for an hks twin plate?
You have to make sure you have the right size bearing and carrier for that clutch and you have to shorten the gearbox front cover by 8mm. The bit thats goes over the top of the input shaft and the release bearing slides up and down on. Due to the fact the clutch is alot taller then a stock one and the front covers stops the plates from fully releasing. At the moment my car is a bastard to drive with the twin plate installed! many thanks russ |
