71mm Supra vs Turbo GSR (Camera Car)

The GSR had beaten a cam'd bolt-on '96 Mustang Cobra earlier that night and decided to try his luck with a cam'd, single Supra on 120 octane race fuel. This was a bad idea.

71mm Supra vs Evo 9 (Unknown Mods) and Turbo GSR Camera Car

Don't know the mods on the Evo, I think he had an upgraded turbo, might have been on race gas or meth injection. Had lots of nice shiny gauges.

The first run he's on 25 psi, rapes the Evo, he takes us up to over 170 mph, the evo gears out at ~150 mph, so then we're droning down the highway with a 4" exhaust at 30 mph in a 60 mph zone waiting for him to catch up.

The second run (not caught on camera, GSR left, I ran out of film earlier) he turned boost down to 15 psi, the Evo 9 kept up until somewhere north of 130 mph. Quick car. Not Supra quick, but quick.

Camera car is on VP Import (120+ Octane) at 28-29 psi, VPC, 264 Cams, RL TC, white car is on unknown fuel (116 min) at 30+lbs, AEM EMS, both cars on stock blocks.

Quick note, when the white car pulled over he plugged his laptop into the AME EMS to check peak speed during the second run and the AEM showed an indicated 181 mph.

Getting back to bikes, this one isn't to bad for a reasonably tame looking/sounding bike.....

A combination of bad weather and a lack of "opponents" has made for a lack of decent videos, but here's the 'ol Big Bad 71mm Sup taking down a twin turbocharged 1996 Mustang Cobra.

96 twin turbo cobra vs Supra single 71mm turbo- Video

(Supra misfires, lets off, gets back on the throttle)

And a few vids of some local 1JZ cars making pulls in Mexico.

2 1JZ powered JZA70s, camera car has 2JZ cams, GT4080 turbo, 16 psi, other car is stock 1JZ, 61mm turbo and untuned:
