removing oil pump
Hi, what is the easiest way to remove a oil pump from ab RB26 engine? if there are any easy way.
Have blown the sealing in front, and when i take that out, there are some lose bits from what seems to be an bearing behind the oilseal. i now need to take off the oilpump, to see whats wrong in there. im afraid that the oilpump is destroyed. |

Its not a 5 minute job unfortunatly, its definatly quicker and less hassle to remove the engine and then drop the sump off.
You can't just unbolt the pump and bring it forward in place. Rob
