Advice please

I've already purchased 2 z32 afms and 700cc injectors for when my new engine is fitted, i had then planned to buy a power Fc and have it mapped with the above bits fitted. Although i've now had a change of thought:

1st question, would i just be better off buying a D jetro power FC (is this easy to fit)

2nd question, if i was to fit the basic power FC with the 700's and z32's would the car run, i.e. could i drive the car to my tuners to have it mapped?

thanks in advance

1. it's dearer and takes a lot longer to tune = $$$$$
2. if you setup the PFC for the Z32's and injectors, it should still be drivable - but more experienced people on here can advise you of that....

Yeah it'll still run, but you'll need to go into the power fc menu and change some settings.
If you give your "mapper" a call before you go down there, he should be able to talk you through the details.
OR, when i get time, i'll give you the settings from mine, as i have Z32's and 700cc injectors.

Thats great mate thx very much, although just spoke to Paul Hills at engine advantages and he said he can supply, fit and map a D jet PFC for £1300, which i didn't think was too bad

IMHO if your budget will handle something like a D-Jetro or similar AFM-less setup then I would say "go for it". In the long run you will save on having to constantly shell out for AFM's and you can always sell on your Z32's.

Personally I am going to swap my PFC for something like an F-ConV or Motec further down the line. Nothing wrong with the PFC as it stands, just prefer something a bit more powerful with more features.

TT
