Clint,

Try:

Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels

email Luke, he is very helpful Luke@tirerack.com

I got quoted around £900 for a set of Bridgestone incl. shipping to UK plus our duty and vat.

That's not too bad at all. We'd been indicated approx £500 per tyre, plus fitting and balancing.

So probably working out at £300 per corner to the door. Still expensive rubber but a lot better than the £500 thats been talked about.

Tyres

The TPMS warnings could be because they are running higher pressures for the track and that they will swap wheels about. The Pirelli isnt a run flat so will give a better ride - it'll also be a lot cheaper. The Bridgestone is more agressive road/track tyres - wouldnt want to be caught out in the wet with them!! I checked the price of the Pirelli's and they are £260 each so a lot cheaper........ try Micheldever Tyres
