good point about the copper, I first thought titanium as I like the look, and its light weight, also like the idea with the intake runners , there is a good video from [IIRC] Horsepowerfreaks, with their bmw M3 turbo intake, on youtube-using a slight taper and angle/length to improve torque.

Anyway, I thought we were talking about engines to put in Goddy's.
not at all shabby, my buddy who worked at roush was doing some con rod work for F1... i believe it was ferrari, but they were testing a titanium carbon fiber matrix rods. F1 blows my mind. the amount of technology they use, and the constant development in that league of racing is unreal. CART and IRL is slim pickens compared to it. you will have to excuse me though, i've been fairly removed from racing for about 4 years though, i've been in iraq for quite some time now, and am just trying to update myself as to whats hot, and new ways of going fast. my goal is to go sub 9s around 165mph with a streetable car...cheaply. i was thinking about importing a skyline for track only duty to the states, but i know i wont be able to resist the temptation to drive it on the street, and it would suck to have that impounded and crushed. so i think im going to run a 2nd gen rx7 with a built 400ci ls1 twin turbos.

ya ti does look sick, especially on exhaust. its just not well suited to transfer heat like copper or aluminum. and 2 even with copper i'd have some concerns on it picking up a stone and getting a hole as fragile as it is.

We already built it. 2.8. GT-RS. Tons of area under the curve.
