426 Hemi Aluminum stroked to an 8 liter, with twin GT42s. That would be my engine if money was no limit!

With a huge 290*, 12mm lift cam 117lsa

With a progressive dual 300 shot fogger system.

Should have well over 2000hp, going through a Lenco Auto

HKS GT-RS or HKS 2835 or HKS 3037S twins depending on whether you want the emphasis on torque ( 500 + ft lbs ) or power ( 700 to 900 BHP).

A quality tuner to set it up and maintain it.

Motec is my poison for bigger BHP.

You missed one very important category a sequential gearbox linked to the ECU to allow full throttle gearchanges.

It doesn't get much better than that.
That sounds pretty much like your car Hugh

Philip,

High lift cams are a strain on the cam belt and the cam gear and are therefore not particularly suited to low RPM idle or to higher mileage by prolonged road use.

Hamish,

10 out of 10

For out and out driveability the GT-RS set up was fantastic with 2 bar of boost at just over 5000 RPM all the way to the redline.

The 3037S turbos with slightly bigger cams ( 280° by 10.8mm lift ) is less driveable but the hit with those turbos at 2 bar of boost is unbelievable.

I have some 1580cc injectors going in next month and will allow more boost which I am really looking forward to.

Hugh

Well I can't select any of the above in the poll really so here goes anyway:

If it was a mark 3 or 4 GTR it would be a fully race prep S20 engine, even down to the £1000 oil drive kit. MMM even more straight cut gear noise. Would be built buy one of the guys PS30-SB knows back in Japland.

If it was my Skyline then it would have to be something stupid like an L32 stroker with an OS Giken head on running my trust twin turbo kit but with some TD06-25G Turbo’s on instead, with a HKS Turbo surge tank on 3 double t/b's. Probably running a Motec ECU.
Ok that combination probably wont work or anything and will no doubt blow up :S
O I just thought the turbo kit and surge tank wont fit as a different head layout so will just get them build custom ones to look the same, but I think you get my stupid idea anyway.

Total cost a good £50K I bet for something that probably won’t work. Unless its all forged titanium or something like that ??

Will

RB26 block
Ti rods
Steel crank
Anodized forged pistons

Replace the timing belt with gears(not a chain)
