the diff needed a bit off lateral thinking

Id just buy the (supposedly 1400bhp) engine out of that white vielside R34

then add a few tweeks and get a no expense spared coolling system.

For my next trick i would go to the manufacturers of the bugatti veyron gearbox(7 speeds, 4wd, double clutch )
and pay them to adapt it

Then fit it into my custom made no expense spared, carbon Stagea shell......

to be honest i would quite like the RB26 N1 that was in the Group A R32 GTRs,

either that or a full RIPS RB30DET with a t51r hanging off it!

Group A was not N1. Group A had some "special" blocks. Special setups.

RB30 built by RIPS

twin TDO6 28G turbo's

R34 Getrag gearbox

RIPS intake manifold

OHLINS custom suspension (race track)

all on a semi stripped out R33 GTR, with 2x kevlar bride seats inside, plus a custom 10 pt roll cage.

mmmm..the thoughts of 750+ reliable whp, huge torque and 200+ mph topspeed is a dream i hope to realise.

It'd be a Nismo engine for me with fully forged internals . A T51R SPL for company as well.

twincharged OS RB30 with a roots blower driving a T51, full boost by 3500rpm

back in the real world, rb30 with disco potatoes and 260 cams feels unbeatable on the road
(cheers cord et al )

just saving for OS88 'box now...

Talking Ideal spec for UK roads

Mine with forged pistons and a half mil overbore...

For track, I'd be tempted with a widebody R34 honed by Mine's.

For drag, the Waste Sports '33.
