Like for Like...

Agree with the above - doubt ANY skyline short of a full on race prepped one will ever match an Enzo for handling.
But then can the Enzo do the sub-one minute lap of Tsukuba, and then take the wife and two kids home with th eovernight luggage...

Different cars for different purposes. I'm not sure how far an NSX Type-R can be tuned power wise, but I would have thought that it would be the closest Jap car to an Enzo in terms of handling? A 600bhp NSX-R??

Having said that I recall seeing a certain Mr Clarkson take apart a Murcielago with an Evo FQ 400 so perhaps a nicely set up Skyline would have a chance...
As with all these hypothetical questions - its all down to a drivers ability in his car, and his willingness to risk it all to get a better time.

Ash

For the price of an Enzo, you can buy an R34 and a house. The Enzo's a great car but at half a million it should have wings and a jet engine.

I want to see chassis, handling mods as well . .

I am asking this as I met somebody , who claims owning an Enzo,(probably has one), and who says that basicly no street tuned car aviable in japan, under 60k could catch him up on Suzuka . . . . . well he never met the second coming of god then . .
No GTR will ever be able to compete with a Enzo. You talking about a car based on F1 technology to a GTR which is a car based on a saloon.

It aint gonna happen. You get the GTR funny cars with 1200-1300 bhp but they are just good for straight line...

I guess handling wise you're always going to have the issue with the GTR engine being in the wrong place.

I just say:Let it rain , let it snow . .and the Enzo will fly like a bird (into a plain wall)

pfft. A stock Nissan Micra - and Chuck Norris at the wheel - will get the job done.

While the Mines car is amazing for what it is, if an Enzo was also fully optimised for the track it would be no contest. Next we will get people saying the Mines car will beat an LM sports or Formula 1 car

that'd make an interesting challenge. Take an FXX(tuned Enzo), and the best tuned Skyline on the planet, put them on the dragstrip, the autobahn, and the 'Ring, and see who wins.

pff, you need to shed atleast 300+ kgs of the skyline, which makes it weigh still 1420 kgs+. supersoft yokohama AO48R tires, for that extra grip in the corners. i'd also say two small turbo's which spool up quick enough but still can deliver 680 hp+. modify the suspension...and i think we have some fairly equal cars.
