Personally I don't feel it 'diminishes' the car in anyway, I can appreciate a purist may be offended by such 'sacrilege' but if that's the case there are plenty of unmodified examples about (in Japan anyway  - Maybe  ) but it's not what this car is about. It's me not explaining myself properly then. In a way I guess I do think it's sacrilege, personally I think a standard R34 platform would have been my choice - that being said, when do any of us make sensible decisions when it comes to the GT-R?
