For those of you who like to spend time looking out of the side windows, whilst driving - there's an interesting event during Golden Week (Sat & Sun).
For 20,000 Yen you can sample any of Ebisu's circuits to drift to your heart's content all
day & night Saturday & Sunday!
Unfortunately I'd already agreed to go to a wedding party Sat early afternoon (Wedding tax
) but as soon as that's over, Allen (In his '86) and I in mine will be putting as many tires as we can fit inside, plus a barbeque, bacon, eggs, etc, Thermos Coffee, and possibly a tent + tool kit, armed with our JAF membership will be making the pilgrimage.
If you like drifting, this has got to be the ultimate weekend! No doubt there will be quite an atmosphere, not least the smell of burning rubber for an entire weekend, with anarchic driving to boot.
If anyone wants to join in, let us know and we can travel in convoy... Have tried to convince Andy, but he says he's scared of the traffic coming back being Obon... Scardey cat!
