Very special House of Kolor R33 GTR V-Spec for sale
Unfortunately the time has come to part with my GTR
, quite a wordy advert this one so get yourself a cuppa and read on.It's been a remarkable car to own and every journey has been one big grin, however due to the option of something very special coming up for grabs that I desperately want, and a change of job meaning I now have a long commute I have to begrudgingly part company with the GTR. A few pics before I waffle on! I have literally hundreds more so feel free to ask. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Video showing off the paint here YouTube - Skyline R33 GTR House of Kolor A fabulous car which is definately pegged as one of my favourite cars of all time. The car has been utterly pampered during my ownership and previously, and it's condition reflects this. It's basically a good solid stage 1 GTR, not extensively modified but cherished and kept in great condition. The car has a genuine 88000KM on the clock, which equates to 54,680 miles, with a BIMTA certificate to prove it's milage upon import, and all MOT's since. I travelled all the way to Bargoed in South wales for this car, which hopefully provides some insight into how specific and clean an example I was looking for when I bought it. I still have the original advert and all supporting documentation from Extreme Imports where the car was bought for 13500 pounds around 2 years ago (ddavej on here!) Modifications: The car has had rather a lot of money spent on her in keeping her in great condition. Some of which is detailed below, though I'd recommend pm'ing or emailing to get the full picture. *Full respray in House of Kolor silver with prism effect paint. (similar to TVR's specraflair) to the tune of thousands of pounds. This was done at a very highly regarded bodyshop in the north east (Heaton Park Coachworks) who did an absolutely sterling job, real attention to detail. This was a full windows out respray with all door checks and so on being done. The car was originally factory silver, however a parking scuff on the front bumper and wing (pics to prove - nothing major at all) was enough to justify the House of Kolor respray to myself, Couldn't resist and the car looks stunning with the sunlight on her thanks to it, and a lovely shade of bright silver metallic when the sun's away too, perfect really. A Knight-Racer Carbon Fibre Chin spoiler was also fitted when the car was resprayed. This has a couple of very small cracks now unfortunately, which thankfully aren't too obvious, thanks to the kerb in my girlfreinds street being deceptively angled and me being a plonker. *Engine rebuilt circa 3000 miles ago by SP Auto's in Eastbourne. Andy at SP Auto's came very highly recommended so I had no problems sending the car all the way down to the south coast from the north east to let him work his magic on her. The original engine had spun a bottom end bearing due to oil pump failure. A huge amount of work was done by Andy and the boys at SPA who fitted a new bottom end and rebuilt the head to a very high standard. The car has been used regularly since, and has proved absolutely faultless with no oil consumption and very smooth running. Makes great oil pressure in all conditions, with temperatures being spot on too as you'd expect. *New brakes all round - these were fitted at the same time the engine was rebuilt by SP Autos, using EBC vented disks and Yellowstuff pads. These are remarkably good for fast-road use and haul the GTR up smoothly and sharply without fade. *Externally the car is kept pretty standard looking, I love the look of them as they are and had no intentions of lairy bodykits or fibreglass monstrosities making their way onto it. It has a set of Nismo rear spats, standard bodykit aside of the carbon splitter, and a few small cosmetic improvements such as carbon fibre spoiler end caps and carbon fibre B-Pillar covers (all nismo). A set of rare Greddy Gravity wheels are fitted with Falken 452 tyres. These have proved to be a great option for the road with lots of grip being afforded in both wet and dry. These are currently up for sale as I fancied a set of black wheels to go on, so if there's any preference I'm willing to sort the new owner out with a new set, or indeed the greddy's. The suspension is Tein Superstreet all round, which provides a lovely balance of handling and road useability / comfort. A brief summary; * 1995 Nissan Skyline R33-GTR V-Spec (HPI clear) * 88000KM / 56k miles with a freshly built engine fitted by SP Autos. * Long Tax and MOT * Comprehensive service history detailing everything from regular oil changes and all maintenance to respray and rebuild. * Oil changes every 3000 miles with nothing but Silkolene RS oil and purolator filters. * Full Respray in House of Kolor Silver Metallic with Prism Effect Finish costing several thousand pounds. * Knightracer Carbon Fibre Chin spoiler * Greddy Gravity Wheels (rare) * Tein Superstreet Suspension * Rare Trust twin pipe exhaust system (not obnoxiously loud, just a nice rumble) * Trust Downpipes and Decats * Bee-R Rev Limiter (never used it) * White Nismo 320kph clockset with matching white centre console gauges (Torque Split, Oil temp, Boost pressure) * Tomei Steering wheel with Nismo horn button * Nismo Gear lever * Ultra Technologies Turbo timer which can also display boost pressure, speed etc. * Cobra CAT1 Alarm and Immobiliser professionally fitted by turners alarms and audio * Recently fitted Alpine Head unit worth 300 pounds with Ipod link cable in the glove box, mp3 playback etc * New Battery fitted * Greddy Iridium Spark Plug (8 heat range) * Apexi Induction kit will be fitted (awaiting delivery, HKS super suction currently fitted) * EBC brakes all round, front disks grooved with yellow stuff pads front and rear * Rust prevention underneath via underseal and waxoyl * GTR Key * circa 430bhp @ 1Bar Boost Bad Bits. Like every car that's not brand new there's a couple of small things that aren't perfect. * Clutch is approximately 70% worn, No signs of slipping or anything but it will need replacing this year, not a particularly big job, nor too expensive. * Tie Bar bushes worn - These will most likely be done prior to sale, nothing serious and still drives and handles near perfectly, just the occasional knock on bumps. * Carbon Fibre Chin spoiler has a couple of small cracks in the Gelcoat finish, not too noticable but I'm a perfectionist * One wheel has very slight kerb damage which thanks to the quality of the powder coat isn't noticeable at all unless you look for it. Underneath is very clean with no rust. Bodywork is immaculate as you'd expect. The car will be on show at Pistonheads car show / Autosport International later this week so feel free to pop along and say hello, and of course you're welcome to ask me anything you like about the car. I have masses of pictures and photographs to support it's history, and a spreadsheet detailing everything I've spent on her to date (believe me it's a lot!) so her lucky new owner can be confident they're getting a pristine example of what is one of the most intoxicating cars to drive that I've ever experienced that should effortlessly provide huge smiles and many, many reliable miles of fun. Any inspection welcome, no test pilots, test drives will only be given with proof of insurance. I've been as honest and open as possible with regards to the car, it is very well looked after and cherished, though being used rather than a garage queen it's not quite concourse condition, but as close to as you could hope for. Never been in any accidents, only damage it's ever seen is a scuff to the front bumper and wing prior to the respray, of which I have pics etc to show. I can put you in touch with everyone who's seen and worked on this car in a professional capacity for their opinions, from the company it was bought from to the bodyshop, SPA and even the guy who MOT's it if you want! Part Exchange is a possibility. I have tons of pictures and stuff of the car so feel free to ask, though I'm looking for something more along the lines of motorway cruiser / 4x4 as I've got a special purchase planned in the not too distant future. It's not the cheapest example out there, but it's one of the best in my opinion and represents an absolute bargain given the work done, amount spent and how well looked after it is. I've also got shed loads of bits I intended to fit and haven't which are negotiable, though I was planning on keeping them and maybe building a 32 track car. I also hope to add a few finishing touches before the sale such as getting the rocker covers etc powder coated and a few bits under the bonnet polished here and there if I've got time, so rest assured you'll be getting a very nice well presented example. £11500 Gutted to have to sell her, be heartbreaking to see her drive down the road but I've delayed the inevitable as long as possible so it's got to go now Many thanks for reading, Cheers, Stu Last edited by MeLLoN Stu; 7th January 2008 at 06:18 PM. |

Hi Stu, sorry to see you selling up
We've imported around 300 GTR's now and this was one of the very best! I bought this one personally for myself but didn't want to use it much due to her fantastic condition hence i sold it to Stu after he had a good friend of his to give her a once over. If anyone wants any info on her i'll be happy to speak to them, Stu will pass on my number. BTT for a little cracker!!Dave. |

Cheers guys, gutted to let her go but it's one of those things really,
Dave - was a pleasure buying it from you mate, couldn't have bought it from a nicer guy and yep, I'd not seen on anywhere near as clean and still haven't, it's very well kept ![]() Cardiff - Yeah I figured 11500 was a sensible price, market's as flat as roadkill at the minute so it'll make a bargain for someone that's for sure. ![]() |

Unfortunate to see this for sale Stu, its been a while to bring it to this stage. One of the most gorgeous 33's in this country IMO. Good luck with the sale buddy.
