Hello everyone I was after some advice for my R34 GTR V-SPEC. It is pretty much standard apart from an aftermarket back box (don’t know what it is?) and apparently being tuned by Mines (has a gold plank stating this on the ECU).
I wanted to replace the standard air box with some cone filters, but am not sure what brand to use?? Some advice here on the different brands would be nice and where to source them from for the minimum cost.
Secondly I wanted some advice on turbo timers. I was looking at a BLITZ FATT TURBO TIMER, which seams ideal as the mounted display screen only takes up a small amount of space, yet again I dot know much about these and the best place to source them? Does it work without the key in the ignition as the NATS keys have an immobilizer chip within them? Can you leave the car and alarm it while the turbo timer is counting down?
And finally I was looking into treating the underneath of my car as it’s a fresh import I was told that as it comes from a dry country it need to be protected by some sort of under car sealant? Is this true? Where is the best place to get this done from? And is it possible to do it myself? (As I don’t mind getting dirty) is their a guide available on how to do this? What products do I need to use? How much should I be paying if someone does it for me?
