Oh my, now I understand what you meant. You already own a R35 now and intend to get another R35 Vspec later on.

Really good for you, but I still can't believe you can have a Vspec on order. Sure you can be on the exclusive list of people taken down to be offered one as soon as it is available but do be able to order one already? Thats is crazy.

If so, could you let us know how much would it cost? And post some pics of your GTR we would be so happy to see it!

When I took delivery of my GTR and drove it for the first time, I fell in LOVE, as per my previous threads, it is the best car i have ever owned!!! I don't care much about brands hence I've sold my 997 GT3RS and my Gallardo!!!

I then enquired about the V-Spec/Spec-V from the dealer whom i bought GTR with.

He made enquiries and came back a week later to say that it'll be limited to 300 for Japan only as a one off exercise by Nissan and it'll be almost 300lbs lighter, as well as upto 100 bhp more.

When i asked can i get my hands on one, they said expect at least 30% price hike and built date October/November this year......and yes they'll take deposits to secure an allocation.........i have a receipt to say I am one of the LUCKY 300!!!

who's your importer in hk? i just still can't believe they telling you the complete truth. i met with the manager of Tokyo Nissan a few days ago and even HE still cannot get anything out of the Nissan management. He knows he'll get an allotment but is not taking any deposits as there's no price, build date etc.

if you can get one GT-RRR then great news, but i cant help thinking the dealer is hoodwinking you into parting with cash on pretence he can supply a vspec downstream. - hopefully i'm wrong though!

Well for what's worth he did get me my GTR on the time frame quoted when i placed my deposit in November last year for a 2008 built GTR Premium Edition. Hopefully he is correct on the issues of the V-Spec too.

The importer in Hong Kong is SPS Automotives (they are the same owner of CarCity in HK - check out their web pages on the quality of their Supercar stock list......it's awesome!!!).

Fingers crossed on the V-Spec, as thus far I have no reasons to doubt them.

ah, then that explains it. pricing and ordering for the stock GT-R was available before November. spec-v on the otherhand is a complete mystery to everyone. I know SPS and carcity very well having lived in hk for 13 years and i can safely say they are totally BSing you. they have taken your money because they know there will be a car but have they given you a final price yet? and guaranteed that final price? they have probably secured a spec-v with a tokyo dealer and got themselves at the top of the list. nothing is guaranteed for you though. sorry. it's all guess work and fingers crossed from SPS.
