Shop Update: Some bad news

Firstly I would like to thank everyone who I have had the pleasure of serving so far. Every day the business grows a little more and I truly appreciate everyone who spends their hard earned cash at Psi Supply.

The growth in business has brought about a problem I never saw coming.
My credit card processing company has decided that even though I have a decently sized cash reserve as well as a line of credit at the local bank I am too much of a risk for them.

This came as a great and unexpected shock to me. I jumped through all the flaming hoops that were presented and faithfully and expeditiously supplied all necessary documentation. Nevertheless I was dropped and cannot at the moment accept credit cards. They have frozen the payments of two customers. I have already messaged them with instructions.

I know that I do not have to make this information public, but I believe in as much transparency as possible. This forum has been very good to the business and I appreciate that very much.

Thats terrible news Josh. Having visited the states last month and watching the news I know how bad things are there financially.
Although I havent used you yet I was/am considering a set of turbos from you.

Hope everything works out and I, for one, appreciate your communication of this in the name of transparency. I reckon that alone goes a long way to establishing a reputation as a trustworthy supplier.

Yes. Paypal is unaffected and will be the preferred payment method for a while.

If you have a business acc with paypal, they'll process cc's for you. Does mean your customers paying through paypal, but at least it's an option for now.

Here is how it ended: The processors will be holding the money in escrow for at least 90 days. There is nothing I can do except bend over and take it. I will ship the two orders anyways and pay for the almost 4,000 USD out of my own pocket in the meantime. The orders will be shipped in the next few days.

I will only be able to accept paypal for a while. I am in the process of getting set up with them to accept credit cards, but until then paypal is the only method of payment I accept.
