8th Sept seems pretty early for a Nav car, but then again, maybe you just got lucky in the draw??

Isn't it strange how so few people have with Sat-Nav have been given their dates yet? Also, what's the story with the 3 poor souls that have Post-April 2010 dates? Why the huge gap?

OK, we all knew it was a lottery, but unfortunately I'm the conclusive proof!

The order book was officially opened on 2 April 2008. Thanks to some great work from my dealer (Nobles) I had my confirmation email at 07:19am that day. Apart from Supracat, this is the earliest confirmation that I'm aware of. My official delivery date has now been confirmed as 18 December 2009.

According to the results of this poll so far, there are no Sat-Nav cars being delivered in either January 2010, February 2010, March 2010 or April 2010, although 3 people have said that they have been told that they are getting their cars "Post-April 2010". It looks like these people have made a mistake or misunderstood the poll, so I have to conclude that I had one of the very first orders, but I've been given one of the very last delivery slots. When my car arrives in time for Christmas 2009, I'll have been waiting 625 days since the order book opened.

I'm really disappointed. I wish that I had some doubt about whether I wanted the car so that I could tell Nissan where to stick it. Unfortunately, I don't. Congratulations to all of you who received dates that you're happy with!

Anyway, I ordered a DMG Black Edition with Sat-Nav.

Look at my sad signature (570 days to go)! It started 57 days ago at "Approximately 520 days to go"! Please say something nice to cheer me up!

Supraman, I'm exactly the same, DMG Black edition Sat-Nav car ......December 2009.I wonder of colours have anything to do with it? In any case if we were both assuming Sept/Oct anyway then whats a couple of months? There's a poss that it might be a bit earlier and if not we can even take delivery on Ist Jan 2010 to help residuals! Sorry if it hasn't cheered you up but its the best I could come up with!

Wise words mate. That helped a lot! Thanks.

Must try to come up with an amusing 10 number plate! How about HE10 GTR?

There is every chance that people will drop out and cancel when long dates for delivery are released so we can all hope that the list may get shorter....

Hope that helps ALL of us cheer up a bit!

I know what you're saying but, with the prospect of selling the car at a premium, I think people who decide not to keep the car will wait until they've got it and try to make a profit.

Sorry for being the voice of doom, but I'm still upset.

Supraman, personally i do think that a few will drop out when crunch time approaches in the next month or so, possibly bringing a few delivery times forward. Also as it appears that Nissan have seriously ramped up production for the UK in 2009 then stupidly high residuals might not be happening anyway. Those hoping to make a quick buck are likely to be disappointed ( see AMV8 for example). Let the lucky early owners sort out the UK spec bugs ( 'Cos we're not jealous are we! ) and just look forward to the collection day.

Yeah, and no doubt Nissan will bring in another revised suspension setting (that will allow the car to lap the 'ring in 7:00 dead ) that will be available in UK cars just around December 2009!

I am pretty sure that colour choice makes no difference to delivery timing as you can change it up to a month before your production slot.
Nissan's paintshop is so advanced that the production line has all colour varieties on a day to day basis.
I have also been told that most Base spec cars (non nav) have the earliest slots - so cheapest version gets fdelivered first!!
