I'm bemused as to why we cant take anyone along with us. I wouldnt expect anybody accompanying the soon-to-be-owner to be allowed to do anything, but surely we can be allowed to have a friend/spouse along for the drive down!

We contacted Nissan today to ask the same question - they have promised to have an answer by the end of the day. Seems only fair seeing as my missus will be paying half also.

I'm sure when we've travelled 411 miles to get there, they're not going to stop my wife entering the circuit as a spectator - I understand if they're uncomfortable about her driving the car (I would be too!

im in exactly the same position too. - this is meant to be my wifes car albeit at time of ordering we stated it was a joint purchase. - i'm sure i previously asked my dealer about both of us attending one of the race events and she confirmed that it would be ok - will call Sharon again today to check and let you know the feedback.

the main point to the no partners ruling guys and gals, seems to be that with only 20 of you and 10 cars, your partner/guest (if you could take one) wouldn't see you from arrival until departure, so would get very bored and lonely!

My missus just wants to see this thing - we are buying blind here at the end of the day.

same situation with us - am sure my other half might have gone for the vanquish/911 turbo option but she is going for the GTR on intuition, and i guess my overall recommendation of something i've not actually seen myself!

Just got off the phone with NissanGB who have told me that we are allowed to bring spectators but that they will not be allowed to drive due to insurance restrictions.
They are going to email me with a document stating this either today or first thing tomorrow morning.

Does anyone know who's doing the training at Silverstone?
The fact that it includes drifting (in a 350Z) is worrying me. I went on a Drifting day there and it wasn't very good at all. But I know there are several training organisations that use the circuit......... |
