Really!? That's dissapointing - I though we'd be able to have a go at beating the 7.29!??? My whole point of going to the ring was to see how fast I could do it in...

be happy that its on the GP curquit, because:

1. you´ll never be near the 7.29 min lap

2. you´ll crash the GTR on youre first try

So is the F1 circuit that much better than Silverstone?

Obviously I'd be no where near 7.29, but I'd still like to give it my best shot, at least to end up in awe of the time by way of a comparison.

I dont know silverstone appart from Formula 1 in TV,but i would say every GP course is the same,so its not worth to travel that far for a GP course

I've spoken with Concierge 2 times regarding guests.

Only the registered buyer is allowed to attend. Can't take anyone with them, not even as a spectator.
They can't give their space to anyone else either like a family member for example.

My father wanted to give the track day to me as I would enjoy it more and in the end, I will probobly drive the car as much as he will.
But that's not allowed

Spoke to Andy Middlehurst today and he's guessing the Silverstone layout will be the South circuit which is only 1.5 miles long.
It definitely won't be the full GP circuit as the Academy is held on so many days.

Nurburgring GP has a couple of layouts too, but from what I've seen they are all more fun than Silverstone.

Don't forget if you get there for Sunday 14th you will get the chance to drive your own car on the Nordschleife as it will be open to the public.

I'd recommend a 3 cylinder VW Polo for hire car antics!

I've driven the GT-R a bit now and have to admit I wouldn't want the Nordschleife as my first go! The short circuit will be much easier to get to grips with so you will be faster at the end of the session.

My talent runs out long before the GT-R gets in to its stride so I'd be much better off on a short circuit!

I'm flying into Hahn airport - was only £39ish return with Ryanair. I'll probably spend the saturday and sunday in Frankfurt or Cologne.

Crap only decent day I could get in English was 27th October. They are trying to arrange a "clog only" day, but believe it when I see it.
