Nurburgring tackday
Just wondering what proportion of people will be going to each track day. Good opportunity for people to meet up and chat to add to the whole buying experience
I shall be attending the 15th September in Germany - good excuse for a road trip and good excuse to stretch the legs on my SL55. Anyone else coming? |

All booked in now at last and measurements given - v.exciting!!!
I have to work on the Saturday so will probably drive over first thing on Sunday morning to get the leftovers of the open day and then again for Monday evenings session to try and carry over some of anything learnt in the am session. Will probably stay in the Dorint Hotel - its superb. What is everyone else doing? |

But I had presumed that Nissan would be organising on some hospitality; otherwise looks like I'll have found a use for our concierge service ![]() |

Its the main large hotel that overlooks the main circuit (not the Nordeschleif (sp?) which I believe is where the drive will be. Get a circuit view room so you will be able to watch the cars pass.
The bar there is something special too - bring a pen ![]() |

Afraid not!
You'll have to just trust me I'm afraid - wonder if there is any space left though????? Sorry I'm talking in riddles - you'll just have to trust me and everyone else who has been lucky enough to have visited Josef and the white glove! |

I was talking to Chris at Middlehursts yesterday and he said that only one person per car could attend the Silverstone and Nurburgring track days, even if the other would be only a spectator. I asked him how you could drive all the way to Nurburgring without a relief driver and he said that they would fly you! It sounds a bit unlikely as the nearest airport is about 80km away I think.
The Goodwood event is different and you are allowed two tickets. Given the traffic problems on the Sunday I would appreciate it if anyone has ideas about where to stay over on the Saturday night? |

I'm booked for the 15th September (AM), would like to know if anyone else had heard about the 'no guests' thing as the the other half and I were going to make a long weekend of it!
