Here is an example to see the GTROC in action. Whether it is on one of our many trips to Japan, social meets big and small, track days, shoot-outs or just meeting up. We also have a lot of good friends in the industry both at Nissan and in the tuning side. Add to that a great club with plenty to offer and it makes sense to join the GTROC!
Nissan GT-R SpecV details
At the launch of the Street Art Exhibition, at the Tate Modern Gallery, Nissan kindly allowed members of the GTROC to attend. Here are some of the photos provided by Nissan to guests at the event
As well as the official photos the GTROC was on hand to see a lot more of Nissan's latest ideas and to see changes to existing models. Photos of these and the evening itself.
The GTROC was at the launch of the long awaited GT-R. The R35 was on display at the Tokyo Motor Show and, as a result of some very generous help from Nissan we were granted access on the VIP day and given a priveleged insight into the car and a great opportunity to take photos.
The following day the GTROC went to the Nissan Gallery in Tokyo and also Nissan's Headquarters to get a load more pictures.
We hope you enjoy them.....
Every year a group of car enthusiasts get together with some ASDA trcuks, and a load of other entertainment to bring to life the annual On your Marks charity day.
The day is one of high speed passenger rides for anyone willing and brave enough to step into a Skyline or a Ferrari, Lamborghini, Viper or all other manner of high powered cars. Since it's very beginings the GTR Owners Club has been at the heart of this event and usually attracts the biggest crowd on the day - mainly perhaps because of the interest from the younger generation or perhaps for the fact that some of our members are hitting 160mph down the back straight!
All the money raised on the day goes to this great cause at the drivers donate their time and effort to bring this to life. We hope you enjoy the pictures of some of the passengers on the day. If you're one of them, please feel free to download them and keep them as a reminder of your day, and for a small donation to this worthy cause we can also send you a hi-res version of the image if you contact us via the contact page.
If you wasn't there you really missed an amazing day! 108 Nissan Skylines on the parade lap around Donington Park. The crowds lining the circuit and hanging from the pit wall had never seen anything like it. Whilst it may not be a world record for Skylines on track it certainly beats every other country save Japan by a long way and proves the National Skyline Meet has to be one of the best meetings of the year.
The 2007 Goodwood Festival of Speed was the first public out for the Nissan GT-R.
Still with covers on the car to hide some of the details and leave much for the public unveiling at the Tokyo Motor Show, it still proved a massive draw on the day. As well as the chance to see the car for the first time it was great to watch it race up the hill.
The test driver confirmed it was a fantastic car to drive and the Chief Designer was on hand to watch his creation and to meet with members of the GTROC
The GTROC once again was on hand to see the launch of the new GT-R this time at the Geneva Motor Show for the European launch. As well as VIP passes to the show and hospitality from Nissan a group of GTR Owners Club members attended a private evening diner on the stand long after the motor show had closed for the evening.
