The Motorsport Association
http://www.msauk.org/site/custom/home/default.asp?chapter=22

The MSA is recognised as the sole governing body of motor sport in Great Britain by the world governing body, the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA)

As the governing body, the MSA is responsible for the admin-istration and control of the motor sport rules.

These rules are actually made and amended by the Motor Sports Council, which is the ‘parliament’ of motor sport; while MSA staff act as the ‘civil service.’

Today over 700 motor clubs covering the length and breadth of the United Kingdom are recognised by MSA and join together to ensure consistency, fairness and safety in all motor sport wherever and whenever it takes place in the UK.  The GTROC is an MSA member

British Independent Motor Trade Association
http://www.bimta.org/

Buying a car or four wheel drive is probably the biggest investment you’ll make outside of purchasing a home.  It makes sense, therefore, to deal with people who have the backing and approval of an established trade association such as BIMTA.

BIMTA represents around 150 non-franchised dealers, and others offering supporting services, across the UK.  Each of them has signed up to a strict Code of Conduct which means you can buy from them with confidence.

On the rare occasion when a major problem arises BIMTA will help resolve the matter to the satisfaction of both the motorist and the dealer.  BIMTA cannot, however, intervene if the trader involved is not a BIMTA Member.

BIMTA was established in 1997 and is today recognised – by the Government, regulatory agencies and motoring organisations - as “the voice of the independent sector.”

BIMTA Members can supply a wide range of new and used vehicles including imports from Japan.  They can also help with full after sales care, servicing, repairs, spare parts plus financing, insurance and shipping.

The GTROC is affiliated to BIMTA
