Well I am close to finding out the answer to my own question on my car.

My car was mapped at RK on Tuesday and to say i am impressed is and under statement.

My newly fitted AVCR shows my stock actuator boost peaks at .79 bar, after mapping I now have a mid boost setting a 1.22 bar, so a big power hike, and my high boost setting peaked at 1.52bar, (on stock turbos remember), and it was absolutely flying!!!

As the car was live mapped I don't ave any dyno figures, but I was only expecting to get 1.4 bar out of them. My Power FC showed knock at 70, which I am not to up on, but its not bad as I am led to believe. At 1.52, but 500cc injectors were maxed out.

I am looking at getting it dyno's shortly, but I am now pretty confident that I have reached my 500bhp goal, but I am not counting my chickens yet.

I'll post up a dyno plot when I have one, but I am hoping that I have proved the stock turbo has potential and just bolting on bigger turbos is not essential for a fast road GTR.

They are the original housings that my 32 came with but with steal exhaust turbine which has been 'cut back'.

I say 'cut back', but I an not actually sure what is meant by it . Apparently its able to flow a little more gas.

Power FC is D-Jetro. The AFM's are a big restriction/weak point, so I thought I'd spend the extra on D-Jetro and be done with them. Mind you, when I say extra, I did not have to buy Z32 AFM's and new filters, plus I have AFM's to sell, so in the long run it was cheaper plus easier to built from here.

this is the way i am going to go for sure. I did the same for management pfc d jetro. What size injectors are you going to? I was thinking something in the 7xx range.

do you have an e-mail you can pm? I have some other questions and dont check the boards often.

Thanks
Mark

I have 550 injectors.

Could have done with larger maybe, but they did restrict the mapping any, so do just fine for me.

I was always told ~1.4, with steel exhaust wheels that is, or 1 Bar for Ceramics.

Hi Scott

I take it the tubbies internals have been rebuilt with steel bits rather than the ceramic bits? If so who did them for you & at what sort of cost?

Cheers
