R35 Dyno Tested

We have put our GTR R35 Company car to the test. The car is a Bone Stock 2009 GTR with 500Miles on it. We ran the car on 4th gear and 5th gear and used 95RON Fuel (equivalent to 91 US) on our Dyno Jet. We disconnected the front wheels and ran the car on the Dyno as Rear wheel drive car. So all the numbers you see are RWD SAE Corrected. Also, you will find the Boost curve and the AFR Ratio on the Dyno sheet as well as power and torque. We found out the following:
1- The Engine is running extremely rich on the top end
2- The Engine is running a little lean on peak boost.
3- The engine is boosting an average of 12.5 Psi. Peaking 14 and dropping to
4- We noticed that the care knocked on peak torque at around 4000 rpm. We believe it is due to the 95RON fuel. Therefore, I believe the standard ECU is not capable of compensating for the Shitty 95RON (US 91 RON+MON/2) fuel we have here.

We are going to take delivery of our HKS GT570 kit by next week. We will install it and run the car again on the Dyno. We will use 95RON Pump Gas and VP Racing 103 and see if it will make a difference.

Regards,

Husam

91 or 93. I don't know actually. It had 28 miles on the odometer, picking it up from the dealer in Arizona. It had whatever they put in the car. I just got on the throttle a bit, and I heard the distinct rattle of detonation.

Later on, talking to more people, they do rattle a little on some shifts.

So Husam , is your car a US car ?

[QUOTE=tyndago;963122]So whats the long answer ?[/

Nissan Decide to do a early hush hush release of few units of GTRs to the Middle East Reasion for VIPs only. the cars called a VVIP units. Basically, at this time Nissan only scheduled the release for the US Market. so the car had to be a USDM. the only difference between the US Spec and our beloved VVIP unit is F*&^ing Golden stripe on the seat edges and the door handles. it was meant to sell for 78,000$ do to the exclusivity and the Early release. one thing led to another and we end up paying 111,000$ and believe me, prices went to 130,000$. if you ask me, it is the biggest scam in the History of Cars Market but we had to buy our car anyways or other wise wait for the normal release in May 2009.

not yet. i think it is not fair to race it with a stock R32,33,34. we are going to try it with a mildly moded R33 with HKS GT2530R Turbos and supporting modes that is making 430RWHP on Pump Gas. i will post the video once we do it.

2530s on an rb26 r32/r33/r34 should be able to take on the r35 pretty easily

I wish I bump into an r35 in my R33 boosting through N1 turbos, I bet I'd beat it in a straight line

The R35 is a disappointment really, straight line performance can't keep up with a stock c6 z06

But yea I know, the r35 ain't made for the straights
