Yes it is true!!! Robbie Ward, builder of the RIPS Drag-R will be arriving in the UK this Saturday and will be here for TOTB. If you want to see him drive it....be there!!!!

Oh

Kieth emailed me friday to see why I wasnt on told me what I had to do friday night. Thanks for trying keith
So I posted it sat which as it turns out was too late anyway I didnt know so I guess it didnt leave till monday no post sat maybe

Kinda irrelevent now but my name was down on the forum for months I'm unsure who was running team skyline kieth said he wasnt this year as he was busy, so maybe if they had wanted me on the team I would have had a reminder earlier but such is life (winning pro street drag anyhow) so it doesnt matter now.

I certainly wont bother next year as in I was asked to be in not the other way round as last year I was told my car wasnt fast enough but then people dropped out and I ran as backup anyhow, I totally understand where your coming from Chris rules are rules and if you let me bend them others would want the same thing opening the floodgates so to speak, thanks for your fast responce on monday non the less.
All that said I wish luck to those running and I hope Robbie gets his car sorted in time and its not as hot as last year.

no probs karl, time limit had been extended a week already thats all and unfair on other clubs plus the owners who had paid in hope of a reserve place and were also unlucky. car is fast enough to have deserved a place without a doubt.
as i mentioned in email, you could still be listed as an official reserve if you want to take a chance, and they could swap you in on the day before 9.30am if a skyline team car dropped out. in this situation its the only way forward now and would be possible, however fully appreciate you may not want to get car ready just in case.

if you still want that option i'll advise dave naxton and the team who will be on site on the day as its out of my hands now.
regards

I've looked on the TOTB site re: tyre regs but can't find the approved list?

I'd like to run Nitto N555 steel belted drag radials on the rear these are a treaded DOT marked tyre? Are they OK?
