The "Pictures of you picking them up." thread

Guys, no doubt a lot of you will start threads talking about your collection experience. Thats brilliant

but, when the dust settles, why don't we have a single thread ALSO that contains some of your pictures when you first get the car. Try to keep conversation to a minimum, let the pictures do the talking?

That way, we can always look back at the next few months and see pages of unbridled joy

Mook

It's a nice idea Mook, but it won't happen.

NO-ONE reads the this section before posting, so this thread won't get read and they'll all be like a five year olds on xmas morning anyway and will just post away.

We'll get a load of threads as each person picks up their car.

lol

Realistically it won't happen, and personally I like reading each new thread as it hits the forum.

Peter that looks lovely - I'm seeing the new white in the flesh tomorrow and from what I've seen on here, my prayers have been answered.

Maxx, it is a bright white but it is pearlescent that IMO has a slightly blue tinge.
I thought the last white was a kind of sperm white, whereas this is a kind of electric white.

Why don't the moderators move the threads to the Gallery section, if you are unhappy. The Lancer Register have a great way of organising them in such a way.

Plus, when an owner has a new car he wants people to see his vehicle rather than be lost on a thread full of other owners cars - it's only natural.

Maybe the GTR - Gallery section should be incorporated in the GTR section as they are newer variants and not Skylines.

NB: The White GTR - looks great BTW!

There is only one Gallery - in the general section - for all the different marques.

what i actually wanted, was people posting thier individual posts, talking about the experiance

but ALSO copying some pictures to this thread, so we have a single thread containing a vast copllection of pictures.

nevermind

mook

Excellent idea! Maybe we should move the meetings and events section here as well! And while we're at it what about the Insurance section along with the Audio/Sec one? Not forgetting, as they become more popular, the Was It You section and of course not forgetting the Projects forum can be moved over later once the cars start getting more modified.

One UK HPC has sent me some pictures of the new owner at the 7am handover! I guess the others either will and we can include a gallery in the magazine or, if they haven't sent anything I guess they just don't want the coverage
