Now the exhaust is made she's going to need some patching up the exhaust has been left to long so once the body work is finished it can be slash cut trimed, I've still got to collect her and finalise the angle of the wastegate pipe but i'm very pleased with the outcome as the exhaust doesn't hang below the chassis rails.

There is one other thing they are finishing off for me it's an adaptor v-band flange for the manifold and another v-band slip jointed top part of the down pipe.

The reason for this is so i can run 2 different types of turbos if wanted as i've ordered a GTX4294R which i'll be using a Tial 1.00ar exhaust housing with, but there's going to be a little one off that i konw of? twist to this turbo which i'm looking very forward to seeing the results with!!! i'll post some pic of it as it pans out.

Great news. I've been waiting for somebody to use one of the new GTX turbos on an RB30, cos I've been dying to see what the results are like considering the extra flow compared to the standard GT4294.

Boosted same here! they seem to be used in America alot on supras with great results. My little twist is going to be using a GT40 compressor housing on the GTX4294R which hopefully should make a fairly responsive high powered turbo

It'll need some serious work to make them fit but in theory should make it a blistering setup! but the only way to find out is to give it a go.

Neil

I don't see what all the fuss is about, it's still a UK GTR, but a bit lighter. And you know for a fact it's gonna be a whole heap faster
