Cheers miragev. I thought i'd do a bit down the garage today on some more weight saving taskes i weighed the rear lights which were over 1.5kg each after taking them apart and just saving the lenses i estimate there will be a 2kg weight saving as i'm going to mould the rear lights casing in with the bumper so well worth the effort.

Mikster the safty is in the cage.

Neil, how will you mount the intercooler and radiator will they be in the standard position or you going to try a v-mount setup?

Ozz / greg

Well of course the 34 as this is obviously an upgrade from the 32 lol Ron's carbon work seems to weigh a ton for some reason though

Ozz i see you at Rons when you was droping of the lemon parts didn't rearlise it was you lol.

bigmikespec

The intercooler will be at the front in sealed ducting in and out of the car and the rad will be liying flat in the rear of the car also will sealed ducting in and out of the car.

Yes thats right I read that but completely forgot (Monday mornings!). But seriously good work, it takes a lot of effort to essentially re-engineer the geometry of a road car.

Good luck!

Neil, after you said about this last weekend I had to logon and have a look. Am loving the the way it's coming together, to think what it was like when we went to pick it up all them years ago.

Let me know when your seeing it again I'd like to come along and have a proper look might even take you in the ST

Can't wait for them early mornings trips out, remember I get to run shotgun.

Now thats one heck of a project! But I am a bit confused; you've already had the fenders widened, bumpers rebuilt and resprayed and now your taking it apart again?

Oooh, you've got to tell me when that you'll be racing in the future.. I just have to see your car!!! But I won't take ANY responsability for any whitish stains on it!!
