Absolutely, that is why Simon is a waste of space, he has no real depth in Maths, as shown by numerous gaffs, he has failed in applying logic, he has posted numerous mistakes all over the place and yet you choose to still think he's great!!!

Its simple - as a non-technical follower of this thread I choose to believe the person with the better reputation and who has managed to produce endless proof to back up their explanations, not to mention support from other respected sources.

...and when I say "respected sources" I don't mean a self-proclaimed "Dr. Ing." (LOL) with a post count of 1 on Scoobynet and a hotmail account!

There's also the small matter of being able to explain things to people so that they understand, without any condescending attitude or insults. Don't expect any respect or support from people who you treat like that.

What part of "The coefficient of friction will not be affected" means "it will go to near infinity" to you?

I have NEVER said anything other than that it will not be affected.

I think that's probably best, otherwise you're wasting your time.

It will probably lead to a number of Mycroft posts in a row as he tries to bait people to rejoin and argue with him, but every time he does that of course, it shows his desperation.

SO - is there anyone out there who believes that Mycroft is correct?
