Talking

I finally got around to fitting my set of Silicon ducts, and despite one band clamp that was playing hard to get, the weren't to much of a problem.

Looking into the orginal Nissan duct going to the rear turbo, I did'nt realise how restrictive it was what with its 'reinforcment' spring inside which was next to useless:

As you can see the one you can see looks great and I'm over the moon with them, (and they'reperfectly smooth inside).

I would love to say its like night and day, but to tell the truth, after owning my car for 13 years at ~380bhp and just getting it mapped 60km ago to ~500+bhp, I am too busy getting used to the extra power as it is with out noticing a couple more bhp.

Looking at the difference in the two, I know from my job as an Air Induction System designer it will be an improvement, but that isn't really why I had them made.

I had SFS make them as peace of mind really as I know from talking to Mr Hirosh Tamora, (aka Mr GT-R of Nissan), that this big duct in particular is problematic when running higher boost and especially when its hot. We spent several hours a few years back discussing what he'd done to is 600+bhp car as his under bonnet appearance is 100% stock looking. His answer to the problem was to line that long hose with an Alloy pipe inside, so that the rubber exterior was just cosmetic. Anyway, I could not be arsed with all that palaver, hence I talked to SFS as I did not like the Samco version.

At the end of the day, what I am trying to achieve with my car is to get the most from my stock (Steel) turbos by optimising all that I can with in economic reason. So these pipes and my own version of the baffled Twin Turbo pipe was my solution for this side of the engine.

This is an incredible price, considering they were a custom order item....

But did you guys know that KTS out of Japan make a hard piping kit already ? (although a few dollars more I think, about $200 USD ?).

KTS-web

RHDjapan can get them.

I hope this post isn't stepping on anyone's toes.....just extra info. We can never have enough parts or choices

lgunnz I've just PM'd you.

All other PM's have been replied to regarding payment and shipping.

I have just potentially sold another 4 set's, so I am closing this Group Buy.

To all of those who will be receiving their sets soon, please be sure to post pictures as this offer will hopefully migrate over to the GTROC web shop.

Thank you. -
