De-cat pipe...

Just done a quick search but couldnt find an answer..

Basically when i bought my car i got a de-cat with it that wasnt fitted, car has a full turbo back 3 and 3/4 ss system on it

Will i notice a big differance if any with taking the cat off and fitting this?

if so i only plan on fitting it when i sort my other issues, i just figure i may as well use it if its worth while??...

How much more power will i see and will the car get louder?

car will be alittle louder / deeper as for gains without doing dyno runs i'm not sure on power
but i notice a difference on mot day (the only day i run with a cat)

hope that helps ?

Is it an R35? If not, then probably worth asking on a different forum (perhaps Skyline?).

and you posted in the R35 section....

You will see gains, especially if you still had the compliance cat on there.
Bear in mind the smell of fuel will be noticeable, which can be bad for a daily in traffic, there is also the matter of a potential $10K fine if you get caught running without a cat.
