Thumbs up Warranty Period RAC Corporate Breakdown Cover

Thought I'd share this snippet.

Last year all us MY2009 buyers were lucky enough to get the cracking RAC Breakdown cover renewed by Nissan after a hiccup where we were all sent some paperwork comprising a renewal form, a new membership card and a mistaken 100 invoice for renewal by the RAC, which got refunded.

The mermbership card I was sent expired in 2011, but I've not received any updated paperwork/membership card this time around yet.

Anyhow I spoke to the RAC Corporate Membership who confirm cover for my GT-R appears on their computer system to 2012.

So it seems the cover has rolled over into the 3rd year. it's worth *208.25 without discounts... *Level 3 cover (Roadside, Recovery, At Home, Onward Travel, Europe)

Good on ya Nissan, thank you very much

I thought it always was going to be covered for three years? The paperwork sent out by RAC last year was in error and I was told to ignore it as the cover ran for the warranty period of the car.

Manual says 3 years full RAC cover so you are only getting what you originally paid for when getting a new car!

Sure thing David.

But my membership card "expired" a while back so I just double-checked.

Still pleased to be getting a few hundred quids worth of breakdown cover, even if she's highly unlikely to pack up whilst brand new.

In this age of austerity, I happy for each mercy. Granted It's a small bonus in the grand scheme of GT-R life, but I *like* it! Cheers Nissan

So you say... but I don't think so. *And* tell me about how many torques you had? Still slower, a lot slower than a standard R-35

Nonetheless, full respect for an amazing way to travel *and* practical too!

It was the Alpine not a Laguna. The GTR wears a Nissan badge so that'll do for me. Loads of cars are examples of badge engineering so it's no big deal really.

Impressive figure from the Stagea by the way.

Back to topic on the breakdown cover period then?
