18 month service

How important is it to change the tranny and diff fluids at 18 months service? My car has only done 6000k.

Cheers

Mine had only done 5400 miles at the 18 month service. It keeps the warranty intact even if the fluids don't really need to be changed. If the book isn't stamped to say you've had it done and you decide to sell the car there would be questions asked and you'd struggle to get someone to buy it. There have been threads on here before asking about buying cars without the service book stamps. Have a bit of a search. I'd get it done if I were you, it'll save hassle in the long run.

Factually that may be correct but for the purposes of having FSH and keeping warranty intact then it's not quite correct. It's not a very useful post from you either. If you're going to spam your way to 50 posts to get to sell your car it may be better to give each post a bit more thought and content so it doesn't look so obvious.

Here's a bit of further reading if you're interested.
