1st GTR

Hello all, I'm new to the forum

After owning Mitsubishi Evo 9's for the past 6 years I've finally given into temptation and purchased myself a 2nd hand 2011 Gunmetal Grey GTR

I bought it from Ferrari and Maserati dealer Dick Lovett today after being blown away on the test drive.

Can't wait to pick it up now and take it for a blast

Cheers

J-P

I had no plans to modify mine...

But two months on it's at 610(ish)bhp with better brakes and anti roll bars.

You can really feel the difference too, it's an animal.

What kit did you use for brakes and ARB?

I've got uprated brakes back and front, the fronts are the 400mm Alcon discs.
The anti roll bars are Eibach.
Always been a fan of better stoppers for bigger power.
Work was done at Litchfield's.

OT I know, but was thinking of similar next time I go to Iains. Did you stay on stock calipers with different pads for the fronts? Really necessary to change rear brakes too?

I'd defer that question to Iain because it's not my area of speciality. But I've always prefered a slight upgrade to the rears when doing the fronts for balance.

Yes, larger discs, standard callipers and better pads. Seemed quite good from a cost point of view.
