My new GTR

MY11 just arrived at the dealers.

Having a few options added - rear sensors, Tracker, front bumper wrapped.

Going to be registered from 1st March and delivered beforehand probably for a midnight first run

Sooo excited

Thanks Guys. Haven't been so excited since buying my first new car in 2000 - an Imrepeza Turbo which went very well for 3 years and 60k miles. This one will be more of a toy - I must be getting old.

Have lots of work and other stuff on in Jan/Feb so thought I'd miss the worst of the bad weather - still going to be difficult waiting though.

It's Gunmetal Grey. I think Titanium was stopped by the time MY10's were launched.

Looks good. I should have looked at Nissan site for the colour option.
I've an MY10 - Titanium, but come to think of it don't think I've ever seen an MY11 in that colour though.

Looks very nice.

I like the GMG as it's not too in your face.
GT-R draws enough attention as it is!

Congrats. Great car mate.

Was it any specific reason you did not go for the MY12 model which I believe is due in March 12?

I managed to achieve a modest discount off list [not to be disclosed before you ask] so the price differential between the MY11/12 was enough for me to take the MY11 and to decide not to go for a used MY11. Also the fact I don't think I'm a good enough driver to tell the difference between a MY11/12. And I can top this one up to near enough 600BHP via re-map if I want to in future which is more than sufficient for my needs.

I've left it to the highly reputable dealer to decide who and what.

The two months I waited for mine were horrible. Spent hours on Youtube watching every clip I could find and trolling through here looking at every issue reported and mods I could do.

But after two months, I new what a Y-pipe and Cobb etc was

Enjoy. Looks stunning as all GTRs do.

Looks like MH to me. If so, I've been delighted with their service to date.

Fantastic car Phil, you will love it. Im totally smitten with my 10 plate banger. Did you go in there and wear the buggers down for a discount, or was it offered freely ?, regards, SIMON.

I couldn't face calling a random series of dealers for multiple negotiations so I posted a Wanted Advert on PistonHeads over xmas for a new or nearly new MY11. Had several calls and the successful dealer was by far the most professional and accommodating to my needs

By the way - you lot are serious geeks if you can recognise the dealer from those photos
