Smile Virgin Post.

Hello all,

After cyberstalking you lot for a few months I thought I had better register and say hello.

Following a lot of research and car hunting I've finally laid down a deposit.

She's an immaculate 59 plate 'Black Edition' white car with the HD screen and, IMO, absolutely stunning.

I should be behind the wheel on Friday and can't wait to get to know her.

She's completely standard except for a light privacy glass all round.

I'm based in Sidcup and am up for meeting like minded GTR owners. A friend of mine called Tony Gwillum has organised a day down at Brands this weekend if anyone fancies it?

So that's the initial hello out the way.

Martin

Welcome Martin, what cars have you come from? There are a number of meets and events that get well attended, another brands day with MLR not too far off too. Always good to hear peoples experiences and what they think of the car.

Welcome to the (ranks of registered users) forum.

Brands this weekend is a bit short notice, but I'm sure we'll meet up soon. Maybe at a GTROC day out.
I'm not many miles North of you.

You lucky git mate

I've been lurking for ages and will be putting my motor up for sale at the end of next week once she's been serviced. Then it's hunting time.

Anyway, I'm very near Sidcup (Work around there) so once I have a GTR I'll drop you a PM to see if you fancy a run out ; )

You need to join the GTROC though.
Worth it in my experience, you save half the yearly fee on just a track day.
Even the lifetime fee (£95) will soon be made back over just four events and there are going to be other benefits too which they are working on.

There is a Brands Hatch day at the end of February... nice and local.
It's full to the public, but still spaces for GTROC members I believe.

Yes indeed good value, recovered on first track day.

Chris, r you breaking your new GT3 cherry at this Brands meet, or do you no longer qualify having sold out ;-) ?
