Question No longer have access to the GTROC Members only forum

Hi

I can no longer post within the GTROC members area, I assume because my membership has expired (even though I have paid for lifetime membership weeks ago)

I know things are on the change but not a lot seems to be improving in this area with regards people having a clue what is going on with their memberships

Any update?

Andy, maybe the best bet would be to PM Fuggles or ROG350Z about this. Mook posted something the other day but I can't find it but the idea is to get all the renewal info from the new GTROC site over to the register and it will be done as a block changeover. Sorry it's not much help but it's a case of being patient while it's worked through.

Cheers, TAZZ

Same here, does the membership lapse mean you have to renew before you buy the lifetime which makes it £95+renewal cost?

Would post Q in the members section but can't

I received my renewal the other day, tried to do it tonight but the GTROC site wont let me login. Can't remember the password, and the email account doesnt exist that links to that account. Not sure how I managed to get the renewal notification.

Can I just sign up for another account or does it need the same username as this site?

I simply re-registered on the new site and used my same username as here thinking the two would be tied up, however, the issue obviously is that there is no integration between the two sites and no data has been updated manually either, hence everybody in Limbo!

I am simply holding onto my PayPal receipt LOL!

Folks,

I've just sent Mook a link to the latest member's list and he has kindly offered to update all the membership statuses. Please give it a few days and you should have access back to the member's section if you have paid over on the gtroc.org site.

The membership database now sits over at gtroc.org where the membership payments are made and so is no longer held on here. We will turn off the auto reminder's and auto restricions on here gtr.co.uk as they will in future come from gtroc.org. So please bear with us for a few days while we go through and get all the membership statuses copied over onto the forum..

It's worth mentioning that the member's section on here will be used less, since events get posted in the "Get Moving" General area nowadays in order for non-member's to at least know what's going on, there is of course also the new gtroc.org site for member's.

The gtroc.org site has been updated so that it will recognise your username from here.

Hi folks sorry just seen this. As previously this site has no link whatsoever with the club site. If you have signed up for membership don't worry we have it - we are no longer posting anything in the Members Only area in any evwent as everything is open to the community in general and then events and shop are on GTROC ? The GTR Owners Club so don't worry you are not missing out.

Anyone who might have an old email address registered to their account will obviously not be able to reset it as it will send to an old email. Please mail me [email protected] and I will manually update your new email and all will be well! Please note could you check that your payment is in the My Account payment area - if this is right then you are all good and fully signed up. this means you then have rights to buy and get access to the Member/Executive members events and shop items and the shiny new membership opack which will be coming out over the next couple of months (it is fab I assure you)

I will have more detailed post up in all areas soon - Mookistar I believe is going to kill the members area anyway as administering it will be a nightmare between two sites and it means the whole community can chat and then the members have access to events/news etc etc on the club site.

Clear (god I hope so!)

Hi guys,
The OP should now have access as I am manually inputting Executive member status for all those that have signed up.

The Member section will remain for the moment as it provides a good place for members with gtroc issues to post without potentially exposing them to the general public.

Hopefully the executive member statuses are now working

Thanks Mook - PM me any issues. Does that mean that all users who you input will then get access to mem area again? I have the full sheet with Members and Exec members right up to date if that helps any?

Ludders sent me the exec members list. I have to do it manually and alphabetically am as far as NurburgringGTR. I'll get the non-exec list off you once i'm done, and then all i'll need is a monthly renewal and expiry list. should be pretty simple once this hard graft is done...

I have not been able to post in the GTROC members area for many moons. At the end of January I signed up to both memberships, but see no change in status.

Hoping I am on your list too!
