I don't know. It works just fine, no noticeable difference from standard (when it wasn't worn out).
I suppose time will tell, it is supposed to last longer, it certainly looked tougher material than standard ( some type of sintered metal by the look of it).
Should stand up to those standing starts

PS. I do have a Skylab installed.
