Might it have been even faster with R R R - even with Tiff driving? Obviously it would with most of us.

There's no doubting that the Porsche is a great car and the 991 turbo will be a real weapon however I really struggle to justify the difference in cost I bet that 991 Carrera S would be £85k and that's not a well specd one, they are just too pricey compared to our Datsuns!

Nope, not in the dry. R mode is far too intrusive, especially with 550hp.

Having said that, it would be interesting to see what Roger Green's time would have been (evo's previous Track Battle regular who has sadly recently left the mag), or Dickie Meaden's or John Barker's as Bedford West specialists.

Tiff's a very talented driver and already did a man -vs- machine comparison in the GT-R and soundly beat the TC, have a look here, good skills and very entertaining!
