Cant find one

Finally got to the point where Im able to push the button on buying my GT-R and I can't blinking find one

Looking a few months ago there were plenty around that met my criteria.. now there are none

I'm looking for:

59 plate
black edition
black colour
FNSH
immaculate condition (apart from the obvious stone chips etc im expecting)
<3 owners (im happy to be the 3rd)
<18k miles

I've limited myself to £40k budget and will buy as soon as one pops up that meets my criteria.. but i've been looking for a month now with no luck

Im trying the following sites daily:

pistonheads
autotrader
ebay
this forum
litchfields
middlehurst

Any more you could suggest ?

Im trying to be strong and resist the urge to up my budget!

I would not worry about a FNSH. Litchfield serviced car is likely to be better looked after.

You are looking in the right places. although I am not sure I would purchase from eBaY.

Check tyres
Check discs

I would also drive a couple before you find the colour you want. Note that the Kuro black is like butter so it needs lots of care and attention.

One will turn up.

I'd be focussed on condition, history and the expensive bits to replace.

For example, buy a car that is coming to the end of its brake life and that's at least a £3.5k bill, around the corner.

Aye ideally I want one that's just hit its 2nd set of tyres... And yeah anything good gets purchased by a dealer and turn up for 4k more a day later

Its very easy to store mp3s on the hard drive, can get 70 or so tracks per cd. I believe there is a solution to the ipod connectivity in 09 cars though. There is a thread or 2 on how it can be done

Does the drive on the premium model not store Cd data? I'm sure I read somewhere it could store upto 700 songs?

One will turn up, just a case of waiting. For some reason 59 plates were all the readily available when I was looking so I settled for a 10 plate

Hi cerealuk. I had exactly the same issue as you. Wanted (and now got) the exact spec you are after. Everytime I found one it was sold, or available and then gone by the time I could get over to see it. I set exactly the same budget as you and got it for a fraction under. You are looking in all the right places but I would avoid the dealer even though peace of mind is worth a few quid it ain't worth £4K (imho) just do your homework properly and if it smells fishy move on. I did consider going for a colour i didn't like and getting it wrapped. In my mind the low milage is the biggest attraction. Top Cars of Sheffield also seemed to have good stock but I think you need to search all the areas you are looking at on a nightly basis and if you see one, book a day off and go immediately. I would not rule out ebay, just make sure you have a good look first and really research the history. Good luck with your search and keep us posted. I would say that once you have one, you won't regret a single minute that you spent searching.

Hi Satan thanks for the info, good to know that I am being realist (albeit picky) Im more than happy to buy privately as long as they are happy to get it over to litchfields or nissan for an inspection pre purchase

Im actually considering wrapping mine in the same sunset orange as my nissan 350z as I love the colour and think it might be quite unique

Will keep you posted

Given the cars have a warrenty up to 3 years or 60k miles I dont think you need to worry about a car with 30k on it.
I actually think a car that 3 years old with only 10 k on it may give you more issues than a car that has been given the chance to go wrong whilst under warrenty.
